Flourish and Grow

A Monthly Newsletter for Inspiration, Information, and Wellness by Katie Beecher, LPC, Medical & Spiritual Intuitive

Welcome to my First Newsletter: Flourish and Grow

I’m so excited to be producing my first of many monthly newsletters. I love being able to keep in touch with all of you. I don’t have words to adequately express how much I appreciate your support. I love hearing from you! Please let me know what you would like to see and learn more about.

Reminder

When you step back and allow spirit and intuition to become your friend and guide, you are not losing control. You are actually gaining more control because you don’t have to be “on” all the time. You can allow yourself to be directed by a loving force that knows exactly what you need. Instructions for how to connect to intuition and your body in Heal from Within. These are the same techniques that saved my life.

Who Is Visiting My Yard

This family of geese live in our ponds and make a daily crossing from one pond to the other in our backyard. We are fortunate to live in a neighborhood in Jacksonville, Florida with an abundance of wildlife as well as with our two bunnies, Wally and Mabel. I hope they brighten your day as much as they do ours.

Body Positivity!

The problem with BMI is that it does not take muscle into consideration, only weight and height. See how this olympic athlete is fighting back and educating the public.

Could you have histamine sensitivities?

Many people have histamine sensitivities but are not aware of it. It’s more than and separate from traditional allergies. Check out this article to learn more, including healthy histamine-provoking foods.
To learn which foods you may be sensitive to, check out the section on intuitive eating in my book.

Health News - Hormone Replacement

I am a huge fan of hormone replacement during menopause and peri-menopause. I can personally say that it has improved my overall quality of life, helped with weight changes, sleep, mood, energy, sex drive, and more. At age 59, I use a prescription estrogen patch, a small amount of natural progesterone cream, and compounded testosterone cream from a pharmacy. So many options are available and I have tried several of them. Happy to answer your questions! Click here to read the story.

What is Blooming Right Now

This is one of the planters on my lanai. The large leaved plants are called Caladium and they come in many different colors and varieties, suitable for sun and shade. They are not cold hardy but you can still plant them as a seasonal bulb. The vine is called a Chenile plant and the red flowers on the side are begonia. The taller plant is a variety of hibiscus. Where I live in Florida in zone 9b, I can grow these year round. I always love passing on my love of gardening and hope this will inspire you to engage in this relaxing activity.
